Mobile Phone Settings To Enable Texting
If your Coach sends out an SMS Text Alert Message that you receive from the sender "698326" ... Do NOT reply to that to tell the Coach "Billy can't make practice tonight" ... you can contact the Coach through the Si Play App -- select the team, then view the roster ... find the coach and you can swipe the "Player Card" up or down to view his/her Profile with all their Contact Info on the back of their "Player Card!"
Login to your Norwood AC account, and then click "Accounting Settings" like the picture below:
Step #2A & 2B
Click on the Adult's Profile that you wish to activate SMS Text Alerts (or to make sure yours is already "Enabled") --- and then click "EDIT" on that person's Profile ... see the next two pictures below:
After clicking "EDIT," scroll down and make sure that your correct CELL phone number is listed and that all the boxes shown in the picture below are checked --- Once everything is done -- You MUST CLICK "SAVE":
Step #4 (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!)
After clicking "SAVE," and then at that Adult's Profile Page click "DONE" ... doing so SHOULD take you back to the "Account Settings" page just like the picture in Step#1... From here select "Mobile Phone Settings" like in the picture below:
Just like the picture below, If you see "ENABLE TEXTING" next to your cell phone number, you MUST continue .... BUT if you see "DISABLE TEXTING," then your cell phone is already set up to receive the Si Play SMS Alerts.
Click "ENABLE TEXTING" ... and follow the instructions on the next screen. It will ask you to do something (FOR EXAMPLE) like "Text the word 'NEW' to 698326" .... once you do that, the system will send a Reply Text with a numeric code. ENTER THAT CODE IN THE BOX ON THE LAST STEP ... and click "Save" or "Ok" or "Done" or whatever it asks ... and your phone will now receive the Text Alerts from Coaches, etc through the New NAC App called Si Play!
